Superior Medical has been rather busy this past year!
We were honoured to assist the Salmans Family, the owners of WRS Healthcare Group, Kansas City, MO., in their vision to build a home, Casa Anthony, for orphans in Guatemala. This building is named after their beloved son.
Superior also has continued assistance to the Carricom this year, with the recent shipment of 55 hospital beds, plus the purchase of much hospital equipment, linens and supplies for the region. We would like to thank the Jewish General Hospital, Montreal, for their very kind donation of hospital beds to a small nation half a world away. Click to view images
Also within the Carricom, our support of 2 HIV orphanages and a home for destitute elderly and others who struggle with chronic illness continues, with a major shipment of new commercial washers and dryers, computers, microwaves and other items to help struggling medical and support staffs help those they serve. Packing the Shipment
Our ongoing work with Nepal found us assisting 21 ‘stranded’ healthcare students return home to Kathmandu after nearly 2 years. In Uganda, we continued with donations of Leisegang HPV diagnosis/treatment modalities, clinical teaching aids, KIWI obstetrical equipment, and as well Zeppelin surgical instrument sets for gynaecologic-oncology.
Afghanistan provided us the opportunity to again assist a wonderful Canadian OB/GYN, who trains local caregivers in OB vacuum delivery and allied regimens.
In Guyana, Superior supported a Canadian benevolent society with over 20 medical kits containing BP units, neo-natal resuscitation sets, patient L & D teaching materials, stethoscopes, electrosurgical units, fetal dopplers and medical supplies.
To St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Superior sent a chiropodist to train public health nurses in basic footcare issues, as well donated 60 instrument sets across all the islands of SVG.
Bangladesh entered into our world when a Minnesota based OB/GYN asked assistance to provide our Kiwi OB systems plus fetal dopplers to assist her annual charitable work.

And finally, starting this December and continuing into the New Year, Superior Medical will launch “The Children of Kampala” initiative to rebuild ‘trade in’ fetal Dopplers for furtherance to Kampala, via some incredible Canadian OB/GYN’s who have taken on the task of charitable work in that region. We hope to ship at least 50 dopplers to assist local health caregivers dealing with the 30,000 regional obstetrical deliveries. (Click here to visit Kampala)
We would like to thank all our vendor partners, the many physicians, surgeons, nurses and allied healthcare providers who have assisted Superior Medical to help so many deserving people worldwide this year.
Superior knows well that Health Caregivers in all areas of specialty are truly incredible people, who reach out everyday helping others. We applaud their strength in a world that often asks too much.
As such, we Superior Medical are humbled to assist the medical community, within all communities, faiths and cultures globally, to help “stop a tear, and maybe bring a smile”
